Character apartments in a 18th Century palazzo, superbly located right in the centre of the historical old town of Syracusa in Sicily, a few steps away from piazza Duomo and Aretusa Fountain.

Inside a beautifully restored palace in Ortigia island a panoramic lift takes you to the apartments (on ground, first, second and third floor), tastefully furnished high standard apartments, extensively renovated in 2006 using precious local materials (terracotta floor tiles, woodden beams...).
Three different apartment types all suitable for a maximum of 5 adults and all equally equipped to the highest standards: studio apartments, one bedroom apartments, two bedroom apartments.
All the apartments are composed of a contemporary living and dining areas, comfortable bedrooms and relaxing bathrooms. They have modern & very well equipped kitchens with integrated fridge/freezer, electric hob, microwave and all the modern appliances.
All the apartments include satellite TV, air conditioning, radio/CD player, bed linen and towels. Laundry facilities are available on second floor.
Most of the apartments have a spacious balcony or a terrace where you can have breakfast or relax yourself looking a piece of sea.

This self catering accommodation is an ideal base from wich to explore Syracusa because has everything on its doorstep, restaurants, pizzerias, cafes and shops as well as historic places and little beaches. No car is needed. There is a wonderful fish and vegetable market within walking distance and a little market around the corner, selling daily fresh bread and drinks.
Suitable for couple, families and business travellers this accommodation offers warm, welcoming and family atmosphere.
This is a very suggested accommodation because it is a perfect alternative to staying in a hotel!

La location è indubbiamente suggestiva: un palazzo storico (XVIII secolo) situato nel cuore di Ortigia, a pochi metri sia dal Duomo (summa e sintesi artistica delle numerose dominazioni che, a Siracusa, si sono succedute nel corso dei secoli), che dalla Fontana Aretusa (forse il monumento simbolo della città) che da tutta una serie di capolavori architettonici in grado di spaziare tra stili ed epoche differenti.
Ed è proprio all'interno di questo splendido palazzo storico che sono stati realizzati gli appartamenti Salomone: monolocali, bilocali e trilocali situati al primo, secondo e terzo piano dell'edificio, completamente ristrutturati sia internamente che esternamente, alcuni completati da ampi balconi con vista laterale sul mare.

Pratica e funzionale la suddivisione dei monolocali, tutti dotati di bagno con doccia: un'ampia stanza divisa in zona giorno (che comprende divano, tavolo, sedie e cucina attrezzata) e zona notte (con letto, cassettone e armadio).
I bilocali comprendono invece un locale adibito a cucina/soggiorno (con divano, tavolo, sedie e cucina ben attrezzata), una camera da letto e un bagno con doccia.
Il trilocale, l'unico tra tutti gli appartamenti situato al piano terra, ha le stesse caratteristiche del bilocale ma con una camera da letto aggiuntiva.
Arredati con gusto e cura dei particolari (dagli eleganti controsoffitti in legno, al raffinato pavimento in cotto, fino agli scenografici archi a tutto sesto che scandiscono gli spazi), tutti gli appartamenti dispongono di tv satellitare, aria condizionata/pompe di calore, phon e forno a microonde e inoltre, al secondo piano dell'edificio, è a disposizione degli ospiti una comoda lavanderia comune.

Non solo bella e accogliente, l'isola di Ortigia accoglie i visitatori con un'offerta di servizi davvero sfaccettata: bar in cui gustare la rinomata pasticceria siracusana, ristoranti che propongono piatti tipici e altri di cucina internazionale, piccoli negozi di artigianato locale, internet point e, last but not least, un incantevole lungomare punteggiato di calette in cui fare il bagno e magari soffermarsi ad ammirare quelli che, secondo Goethe, sono i tramonti più belli al mondo.

Les studios comprennent une grande salle totalement meublée : " zone jour " avec table, chaises, canapé, cuisine totalement équipée et " zone nuit " avec un grand lit.
